The primary reason for zero-growth in Latin America in US-dollar terms is the weakening of local currencies compared to US-dollars.

Globally, average per capita household cleaner spending grew slightly, mainly due to a positive development in high spending Western European countries such as UK, France and Switzerland.

In Asia Pacific, Australia experienced dropping per capita household cleaner spending and was replaced by France and Portugal in the list of top five per capita spending countries. Countries with the lowest per capita spending are, as last year, all in Asia Pacific.
