“Clothing retailing is changing in Spain. At the head of the sector, Grupo Inditex continues to perform well, but there are newcomers both in-store (eg Primark) and online (Zalando, Privalia and Amazon) that are challenging the status quo. They are raising the stakes in clothing retailing and will make it even more difficult for some of the weaker players in the sector to stage a recovery.”
